Aside from poker, backgammon is a game which I’ve been hooked to for the past couple of months. I usually play poker but right now, I just want to try something new so i got myself into playing backgammon online. What made me like the game is that it’s so simple and easy to learn. It also works mostly with MS Windows platform. It’s actually a board game played by two players which is also similar to chess and checkers. The aim of the game is to move your pieces to your home board. Whenever, I have free time I also read some tips regarding the game. I learned that you should learn to trick your opponent and also improve your blocking strategies. Blocking is important since it gives your opponent a hard time to enter your home base. But of course aside from reviewing some backgammon lessons online, practice is still the key to success. But since I don’t have an opponent to play with at home, I just often play with other players through the web. The internet has really been a big hit! Imagine, you can even play with other backgammon enthusiast all over the world at the comforts of your own home! Because of my addiction to the game, i even read some news and press releases. Something just caught my attention and i’ve read that a certain site Backgammon Masters has been trying to beat the record in Guinness which is the Farthest Backgammon Dice Toss! A lil’ trivia huh!
